靈感一部分來自電影《STAND BY ME》，一部1986年拍攝關于成長的電影。講述四個男孩的友情，個性，以及不同的經歷，一起尋找尸體的冒險旅途。影片中沒有特效，也沒有過多的煽情，一切平鋪直敘，簡簡單單，干干凈凈，讓人覺得利落和意猶未盡。不需要安利你們去看吧。
■Gordie: Do you think I'm weird?
Chris: Definitely.
Gordie: No man, seriously. Am I weird?
Chris: Yeah, but so what? Everybody's weird.
■[The boys are having trouble designing how to get across the river.]
Teddy:Okay, you guys can go through the woods, but I am going right here across this bridge. And when you guys will get to the other side, I will be sitting in there, relaxing with my thoughts.
Gordie:Do you use your left hand or right hand to do that?
Teddy:You wish.

River Phoenix--電影里面其中一個小子，長大后也難得的沒有長殘甚至更帥。人們說整個九十年代都會是他的，這個有俊美臉龐和驚人演技的年輕人，23歲就因從角色難以抽身和毒品掛掉了。他在電影里的性格是我最喜歡的，因為自己不擁有。
電影真正想要表達的意義并不重要。
孩子的故事，是否在追求什么，并不是打動我們的主要原因，而是那種-----朋友間的快樂、沖突、默契，在陽光下的少年時代。這也是我們很容易滿足和得到安全感的時代。
